Burnham Winger
Dazzles To Score Last Gasp Winner away In The Cup
Ravens
Youth Under 11s 3 – 4 Burnham Ramblers U 11s
Wow
what a game of football away against Ravens Youth in the league cup!.
Burnham
started slow and went 1-0 down to a good goal from Ravens ,the young
Ramblers then came alive and played some really great passing
football and scored two quick goals to make it 1-2.
Ravens
equalised 2-2 then from a great kick out from Burnham goal keeper,
the ball bounced over three of the Ravens players only for our
striker to run onto the ball and tap it past their keeper 2-3.
With
the coach Mr R Findlay losing his voice on the touchline Burnham
thought all there hard work was to be lost due to a harsh call from
the ref.
Ravens
scored from the contrevesial free kick 3-3 with only 5 mins left.
Burnham
Youth didn't drop there heads and played a nice passing move to set
the dazzling winger free. with still a lot to do , he looks up and
chips the keeper from outside the box. WOW what a goal from the
younhg Ramblers winger.
3-4
with only minutes to go and the Burnham team united to the death
worked hard to see out the game with some great tackles from the
resilient back line.
With
the final whistle blown PHEW !!! I don't think David and I could of
taken much more of it. A very good mature and professional
performance from all the boys ,who kept their heads up all through
the game and worked very hard to get the result we deserved. we are
very proud of all the boys in our team and the great support we have
from the parents.
At the final whistle both
manager and coach blew a sign of relief the game was over and won and
both would like to congratulate the young Burnham team for a mature
and professional performance they kept there heads up all through the
game and worked hard to get the results.
And the coaching staff
would like to thanks all the parents for there loyal support every
Sunday.
